The \u201cBeograd\u201d Harbour on the Danube represents an important travel, transfer and transport hub in Central Europe, at the intersection of two pan-European transport corridors (VII and X). The \u201cBeograd\u201d Harbour on the Sava River has a well equipped passenger pier with accompanying facilities.Belgrade is located at the 1170 kilometre mark of the Danube flow, and the 0th<\/sup> kilometre of the Sava flow. The navigational period on Danube is from March 1 to December 25. Boating is possible during winters with no ice, but it is not economical due to the brief daylight period and low water levels.
